This info comes from the trivia subtitles on the DVD which says putting dummy plates on cars was standard pratice (K-reg plates had just come out when this episode was filmed) and also during filming they put stickers on this and the Daimler which ended up damaging the paintwork and they had to be resprayed (at extra cost to the program) Unfortunately MWF435F doesn't seem to turn up on DVLA or HPI Check, but F-reg = 1967-68.

ertyuio ◊ 2013-08-07 14:56	The chassis no. of this car is SRH2971. An early Shadow delivered in October 1967. The first registration no. was MWF435F and then became OPH2. Side lights were fitted later in the 70's. To make it look newish ? No idea about that.
