Army Land Rovers used by UNIT in numerous stories.

From episode 3 of "Inferno" (Ep. 7.21)

Kooshmeister wrote This particular Land Rover is seen in the alternate universe in "Inferno," a vehicle from the fictional Republican Security Force (in this alternate reality, the UK is the fascist Republic of Great Britain).

dsl wrote Suffix plate so 63+. I'd also guess this is a civilian Landie for cream top and wheels - I think military Landies always have body colour wheels and all-over livery.

From "Day of the Daleks", appears in scenes in each of the 4 episodes and at one point the Doctor commandeers it:

From episode 4 of "Terror of the Autons" (notice in 3rd thumbnail one of the soldiers put his hand on it to do a somersault):

Registration DJJ808C doesn't appear on the DVLA.

Kooshmeister wrote A news Land Rover from Ep. 2 of "The Dæmons." It's also seen parked in the background in Ep. 1, showing it's a 109".

The sticker on the passenger side windshield says "BBC," and it has (not seen here because it's too dark) a roof-mounted TV camera.

From "Robot" (currently used as main image), which features an open-top 109" (used throughout the story), a pick-up style 109" (in Parts 3 & 4) and an 88":

From Part Three of "The Hand of Fear" (Ep. 14.07) Not a UNIT or military vehicle but used by the nuclear power plant security guards (probably why it has an ordinary numberplate rather than an MoD one):

marklandynut wrote Its an ex military land Rover. The double bumper, stacked front lights, painted cappings and tyre pressures stencilled above each wheel give it away.

How do you tell the difference between Series II and IIa Land Rovers?

This one looks like a IIa, due to the rubber headlight surround. For the Series II, it had chrome surround. This is also an army version due to the overriders. marklandynut would surely be able to pin it down accurately, but he hasn't been here for over a year.
