Yep, definitely a FWD Chrysler sports model. |

From this distance, the reverse lamp design will tell us if it's a Laser or Daytona. |

I think its a Dodge Daytona, possibly a Turbo Z model. |

It's Chrysler Laser. Dodge Daytona had smaller reverse lights. |

Nice looking cars, too bad they were FWD or I'd drive one -- Last edit: 2012-05-25 07:16:20 |

Yup, Lasers had larger reverse lights. The reverse lights, the spoiler (but some Daytonas had Laser spoilers) and the different belt molding were pretty much the only way to tell the Laser from the Daytona. |

This car is an 1986 Chrysler Laser That color was for two years only during the Laser's manufacturing years it is called Flash Red.As for the year you can tell if you carefully look at the spoiler it incorperates the 3rd brake light. It is hard to tell if it's a base model or the XE or XT model due to the angle of the screen shot that this capture ( Pic ) was taken but I'm leaning towards a base model. |
