405. |

Surely it's an Iranian IKCO-Peugeot, perhaps a version with the original name 405. |

1993 or later for boot opening at bumper level (European date). Local date unconfirmed. |

That grill (esp the badge on it) strikes me as later. I don't recall seeing a 405 with that badge here. |

I think it says 2000 on the front fender. Maybe an IKCO Peugeot RD 2000 or 2000 RDi... the rear badge looks long enough to say "2000 RDi". The front matches some later Peugeot ROA photos, but I'm not sure if ROAs used the "2000" badge as well. http://www.paykanhunter.com/2011/03/peugeot-rd.html Weasel1984 will sort it -- Last edit: 2011-12-28 22:20:18 |

I will try, but nothing is 100% obvious. Anyway there are no Iranian 405's (of any kind) with 2.0 engine. Do not know what this badge says, but perhaps something different - this car has it too: http://home.arcor.de/soheil.sakhtianchi/f_cars/c_p405glx/p405glx4.jpg ROA was made since late 2006 acc. to my sources and in the first years it still had the old boot lid with black bar - same like RD. Also, but this I'm not sure - it is intresting that RD/RDi had colored bumpers only at the old press/brochure pics. The ordinary cars, you can find in google, all have them in matt black, same with ROA. So I belive it is 405 GLX/GLi, later one or the front badge is not original. -- Last edit: 2011-12-29 00:47:43 |

Ah! Ok there are no 2.0 since few years acc. to my catalogue at least, but it was in the past: http://aydinlikkardesler.com/otomotiv/tarihce.asp - in GLX. |

I'd say '2000' is trim level for Millenium built cars. Confirmed by 2000+ large lion on grille. |
