I would say 1938 Pontiac Six(or Eight) Cabriolet Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" but, what is that trim at the lower on the front Cadillac-LaSalle style? Really I can't find that trim on any 1938 Pontiac http://www.colesclassiccars.com/inventory.htm click on the cream 1938 Pontiac Convertible and also check the interior picture -- Last edit: 2011-09-28 21:15:35 |

Funny, 1938 Pontiac was my first thought, but I was in doubt due to the trim. |

Yes it is a 1938 Pontiac which could have been customised during 25 years of use. The way to tell an 8 from a 6 is by the number of louvres on the hood side - 10 for a 6 and 12 for an 8. Maybe there is a frame just before or after the one in the first thumb which shows this? Side mounted spares were only available as an option on the 8s in 1938. The 6 is Style number 2667, the 8 is Style number 2867. The 1938 hood ornaments were different as well. The 6 used a 'long low Indian head' and the 8 had a 'short Indian head with feathers'. For 1938 Pontiac called its convertibles Cabriolets. Both sixes and eights are model Deluxe - just different series (26 or 28) -- Last edit: 2011-09-28 23:48:58 |

I'm sorry, there isn't. The scene's all about the man simply closing the door and then it skips to the next scene. |
