IIRC The Killing Fields, set in Cambodia but filmed in Thailand, has some RHD Peugeots, which were obviously obtained locally. (Thailand drives on the left, Cambodia on the right.) |

I think you are right Garco, it is a Peugeot 305: http://peugeot.mainspot.net/pics/pic112.jpg At first I thought it was a 505, but it looks different from a 505, see: http://www.dyna.co.za/cars/Peugeot_88_505_GTI_Silver_ss1.jpg I would not be surpriced to see French cars in Thailand, Citroën had an assembly line over there for quite a few years... -- Last edit: 2006-07-23 15:27:34 |

I would surpriced to see French cars in Thailand, Diehard. Now they (old French and new French... both!) are very rare in Thailand. (note : I am not living in Bangkok.) |

They may be now, but once they we're not. Like 13 years ago when this movie was shot. There are more French cars from Thailand on this site. And I know Citroën had an assembly line overthere in the end of the seventies... -- Last edit: 2006-10-19 13:36:12 |
