This is an American LaFrance (ALF) fire truck. The hood ornament, grille, louvers on the side of the hood, tow hooks above the bumper, etc. only point to ALF. The estimate the year is between 1935 and 1938. Note that most fire trucks are individually built and optioned to a specific municipalities\' specifications so without seeing a data plate it would be very hard to further narrow down the year of manufacture. |
