I believe that is Canadian sourced 1972 Ford LTD for Australian market.

That was before they started to make their own Ford LTD to replaced this one they lost in the market.

I have seen such cars like this in the Australia Ebay listing.

You can clearly see the 4th thumbnail have amber indicators in between lights in the taillights assembly which it was not used in our market.

Ddey65, I don't know about the situation in 2011 but all of the LTDs/Fairlanes from about 1980 to very recently have just been stretched Falcons, even the later models with different bodywork at the rear end. All are Australian designed and built.

1972 was the last year we got US sourced LTDs. From 1973 on we got the Falcon based P5 LTD

Ford "Galaxie LTD" in Australia, not just LTD.

According to Wikipedia, they were fully imported and converted to RHD locally. Very few were sold - only about 600 per year. They were very expensive and catered to wealthy buyers, the kind of people who might buy say, a Mercedes E400 today. They were also popular with the Commonwealth Government.

They were sold in 1973 as well, because the Australian Falcon-derived LTD was not introduced until August of that year.

this particular LTD had the aftermarket U.S. Mag alloy slot wheels (same design as the Ansen Sprint and its clones)
