 Thery are talking about the Aushwitz-Birkenau in what was during the WWII the German Oberschlesien province. Possibly the shots are really from there.

LLAR visible on the sides which means this is a Caterpillar !!

and this proves that it wasn't uncommon for pre WW2 CAT to have Caterpillar written like that
