1990-1991 [K-5] model based on the side mirrors. |

Those side mirrors are too small for a SUV. |

Is it just me or is this the high-end Blazer Silverado with a low-end Cheyenne grille? |

Yeah, looks like this truck has been kinda slapped together. |

At one point, the grill says "GMC", but then other times it has the Chevy Bowtie. (Both logos are black on the black grill, and you can only see them in close ups). It also says 1500 on the side, and sometimes has a bowtie emblem in front of the 1500... other times it just says 1500 by itself. SPOILER: During the movie, the characters are always whining about the lack of protection from the sun, and end up trying to use a silk cloth as a cover. The whole time, i am thinking WHY DON'T YOU REMOVE THE TRUCKS TOP AND MAKE IT INTO A SHELTER?!?!.... Then they light the truck on fire (without removing anything), so they can use it as a smoke signal. |

Why didn't you post other images of this vehicle? |

Here's more pictures: If you look closely, the grill appears to have a blacked out 'GMC' in the middle: Chevy badge, hood ornament suddenly disappears: |

It’s in top-of-the-line high end Silverado trim. The optional power assisted side view mirrors were optional with Silverado trim only, and required the Driver Convenience Group package. Also included in the Driver Convenience Group was the comfortilt steering wheel and electronic speed control. The four-wheel drive system consists of part-time "shift on the move" four-wheel drive with two-speed dual range New Process 208 transfer case, permanent 50/50 torque split, GM Corporate 10-bolt front & rear live axles, offset front differential and a inline rear differential. A locking rear differential was optional, offered throughout the 73-87 (-91) rounded-line generation. The differential lock was activated via mechanical rear-wheel slip (spin) sensing. |

It has a 1983-1984 GMC grille in the first thumbnail, and then it has a 1981-1982 Chevrolet grille on the second one. |

Must have a non-factory front end then since Silverados had quad headlights. |

Yes, I pointed out and described the replacement fronts above |
