Suspect her to be a Phantom II |

I also think it's a Phantom II. The Sedanca De Ville body is very similar to one I've seen on a 20/25 made by Park Ward, especially the wings/runningboards, windscreen posts and rear cane work. |

20/25 or 25/30 with Brougham de Ville body by Windovers circa 1935 |

No, I don't think so. It difficult to get an impression of size here, but for me she looks much too big for being an small-hp car |

I am 100% certain this is a 1936 20/25 with Windovers brougham de ville body, chassis GXK50. By the way the registration is still on the car today and I saw it at the RREC rally in 1997, I have about a dozen photos of it. |

It doesn't appear on the DVLA database, in fact none of the cars in this film seem to have DVLA records, perhaps they are just too old. |

For whatever reason, the relative registrations were probably not notified for inputting to the DVLA computer before the Authority's deadline date late in 1983. Alas, most of the vehicles we see in the film had probably been lost by then. |

http://www.coachbuild.com/forum/download/file.php?id=21612 , /vehicle_735813-Rolls-Royce-20-25-hp-GXK50-1935.html NDP 63 was an early 1957 Reading issue plate which means that it started life with a different number for its first 22 years at least. -- Last edit: 2016-10-21 12:13:42 |

I don't understand your reasoning. What has NDP 63 to do with NDP 50? The way that R-R and Bentley owners put personal plates on their cars, anything could have happened, see the recent 1951 Bentley Mk VI 4 1/4 litre estate conversion carrying a 1957 registration, for example. /vehicle.php?id=453333 -- Last edit: 2016-10-21 09:51:07 |

Ooops. I've no idea either. Comment modified. |

If the 1951 Mk VI estate conversion is VBH 200, that car bears a Buckinghamshire mark dating to 1955 according to dependable dsl. Good, practical gentleman's carriage as it were, but lacks the aesthetic appeal of Bradford's B341 DZ Countryman saloon, LUC 369(?) (posted by Rob Geelen). |

/vehicle.php?id=1518370 "Windovers completed this attractive Brougham de ville in May 1935 for a Mrs Cartwright whilst she was living in Paris. RREC chassis records show it returned to UK four years later still in this ownership and subsequent history is recorded up until 1960 when it is thought the car was sold to California where it resided in a private museum for over twenty years." - from 1998 auction. |
