Jaguar XJS? |

Possibly. We'll need someone who can recognise a Jag V12 or 4litre V6 to confirm. Chrome edge to windscreen fits. It seems to have front quarterlights meaning if it is an XJ-S it is pre-1991 facelift and as such is XJ-S rather than XJS. -- Last edit: 2010-11-06 15:59:18 |

Pre-91 facelift the 6-cyl engine was 3.6L. |

Knew there was something to do with the V6 that changed in 91. I initially thought it was that was when it was first introduced, hence my edit. I'm still not totally certain it is XJ-S. |

XJS V6? |

The XJS never had a V6 engine, it had Straight-6 engines. And that engine doesn't look Jaguar at all. -- Last edit: 2010-11-15 02:19:49 |

Maybe it's a Chevy 350 engine conversion? Everything else looks XJ-S... dash, chrome trim, cowl vent placement, distance from windshield to hood... |

"xjs V6?" -I was actually questioning Sandie's earlier comment on claiming it was a Jag V6- although i can understand your interpretation of my post |

No US XJS 6-cylinders before 1992, so with quarterlights it's a pre-April 91 V12. How much pre-April 91 is beyond my pay grade, so Sept 75+ for US launch as default. |
