It's not a "Fleetwood" and it's not a '53 model [the '53s had the exhaust coming through the rear bumper extremities - as may be clearly seen in the image supplied by IRT NMT IND}. It's an ambulance (probably by Superior Coach Corporation); from the design of the tail-lamps, which incorporate the white reversing light lenses, it was built on the 1950 or 1951 Cadillac commercial chassis. A front view would be required to determine the precise year. |

1951 was the first year for reverse lenses under the tailites. There were two optional 1 and a half inch circular reverse lamps on the 1949-50 models between the bumper and the trunk lip. The tiny dagmars would indicate a '51, as the '52's were larger. |
