Bumper looks like 1973/74+. Electra has to be right when he always says, that the face lift is 1973 and not 1974. Perhaps, as usually, it was 1973 in Italy and 1974 for export. -- Last edit: 2010-09-25 15:16:27 |

The IInd series of the 128 was first seen in Italy in late October 1972. At the time my father worked in the sale department of Fiat, and I was almost 12 yaers old and crazy (as now) for cars (so I remember well). Thank You Weasel1984. I didn't know about export, but I'm sure for some market the 2nd 128 arrived before 1974. I clearly remember a second series green 2 door with Swiss plate in July 1973 and the car should at the time have been some months old (not brand new, since I saw it in Sicily). |
