No, this is a 1961 GMC TDH4516, originally ex-AC Transit 400-series. * 1959-62 marker lights * Blank emblem suggest AC Transit (Golden Gate Transit also, but their first buses came in 1971) * 102" wide based on the space between the emblem and the vent to the left * Hard to gauge the length from this angle, but the air conditioning unit is visible. AC Transit's 5301s (40') were not air conditioned, but their 4516s (35') were. AC Transit only received 4516s in 1961. |
