It´s not a repeater, it´s some kind of sidemarker red/white standardmounted on these. I guess it might have been used as repeater on some markets with another glass though. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/61notchgerman2/page01.jpg This scene is in Switzerland. |

Yes, in Europe it was just a red reflector in it. P.S. The parking light (white for the front, red for the back) was in the small lamp on the front fender. The lense was double-coloured. @rljuna2: these lamps were made by Hella. The took the mould of this Typ 3-parking-light for annother usage: with orange plastic-granulate the made for several VW-models the side-indicators for some export-markets. Hella has sold its products not only to one car-maker. NSU Prinz and Citroen Traction Avant had the identical parking-lights. -- Last edit: 2010-05-18 21:53:32 |
