The number plate EI 352 is a fake number which looks to have been put on for the film. The real registration was HUY 655 it was supplied new to Jack Ketley in 1949 and spent her whole working life there resplendant in the companies cream and red colours with swirly red moquette interior.. She was bought from Jack by the Hurst Brothers from Crudwell in Wiltshire and used as an action vehicle in the commedy film High Spirits set in Ireland after completion of the film, was almost lost to scrap. Bought by Gerald Emerton and now restored to her former glory finished in duo blue she has been retrimmed in a lovely period blue moquette Its still around in preservation now painted blue Link to "www.flickr.com" -- Last edit: 2020-10-25 13:19:17 |
