Another rear-engined racer. Used in chase, but replaced by another car when militia started to be too close. |

Not by Dacia ? |

Nope, we never imported Dacia 1100. You could buy Renault 10 in Poland (late 60s), if you had special authority's permission - coupon which magically opened limited-access showrooms - and enough sum of... US dollars. -- Last edit: 2010-04-29 17:17:39 |

Strange there is no Volvo. Scan of the 1979 catalog (well part of it from Allegro). (pic lost) Maybe they had some break in Pewex, as later it back for sure. -- Last edit: 2018-10-10 13:33:28 |

Also this "Polonez Popular" is interesting. It has to be the one without plastic trim. I have a brochure of Polonez Popular (but didn't know from what year it is) and it looks this way. It means, that they were intro. before the martial law... and only later has been renamed to "C" on domestic market. In one Automobilista article it wasn't very clear, but someone would get impression that such cheap Polonez is a martial law product. -- Last edit: 2010-04-29 16:55:30 |

@130rapid: are more Pewex-lists to find, from other years? youngtimer.pl is very interesting, but due my lack of knowledge of Polish I'm quite helpless... You know, I would be interested in the years 1970-75. -- Last edit: 2010-05-02 22:01:35 |
