This is a Studebaker by the cowl lights below the windscreen, though I am unsure on the model. It could be: 1920-21 Big Six 1922 Special Six 1923 Light Six, Special Six 1924 Big Six. These Studebakers usually had headlights housed in rhomboid buckets, so with perfectly round headlights this should be easier to identify. |

According to my research, for 1923, all Studes got the windscreen with integrated cowl lights. Special/Light Six by the conventional headlights - Bigs continued to have framed rings. (previously Lights/Specials had arched windscreens with lights next to them) For 1924 all models got chromed, redesigned radiators - tombstone shape on Bigs and Packard/Buick/Willys style on Specials, and for 1925 the Big radiator was redesigned with a trim band at the top. For 27/28 all models except the Special Six received standard disc wheels. Link to "content.invisioncic.com" 1923 ads or brochures featuring the Special are hard to find but it looks like they were identical to Lights except for the wheelbase and interior amenities. |
