I guess it is. European 911s had orange rear indicators. Also the headlight bezels look different, I think. |

Not only the lamps are identifying it as an US-version, also the licence-plate and -more important- the locations of the pics are showing, that's in the U.S. |

This is not a 1968 model 911. Vents in the Targa stainless roll over hoop were introduced in '69, eliminating '68 and earlier years for this 911T. The chrome engine lid grill and round Durant mirror eliminate '72 and newer cars. This leaves 1969 - 1971. In '69 the 911s had a push button door opening handle whereas in '70 and '71 a trigger style was used. Based on the after-service close up of the female getting in the passenger side, this car has the push button handle. This makes it, without question, a '69 model year 911T. Since the car has headrests I believe that also points to it a U.S. delivery car. |
