1965-67 Maybe a Country Squire? |

Looks like a 1966 Ranch Wagon, the low-spec version of the station wagon. A Country Squire would have the fake wood panels. Possibly the mid-range Country Sedan, but I think those had more side chrome than this one. |

If it's not a '66 Ranch Wagon, it's a '65. I agree with Jonathan23, it's a Ranch Wagon. This could never be a '67. -- Last edit: 2009-10-31 18:41:15 |

Errm... In movie one of the characters says, that is '66 Ford. |

I may have to agree with jonathan23 due to headlight trim and grille. I say it is 1966 version... |

This is a 1966. However, it looks to be Country Sedan, rather than a Ranch Wagon. A quick way to tell the difference is that the Country Sedan has chrome window frames on the doors. The Ranch Wagon has painted door frames, with chrome only around the rear windows. And of course, the Country Squire has the simulated wood grain. Also, the model in the pictures has rocker moldings, which the Ranch Wagon did not come standard with (although like most items back then, pretty much anything could be ordered as an option). One more point besides the woodgrain on the Country Squire, they also had the fancier diecast grill like the 7-Litre models. The Ranch Wagon and Country Sedan had the plain stamped grill of the lower models, as the one in the picture shows. |
