Opel Ascona [A].

It's not an Opel, because in the movie the car belongs to some english turists, and the steering wheel of the car is on the right - I assume it's a Vauxhall >> Notice also the front badge and the plate

Still, how strange it may appear, it is an Ascona, not a Vauxhall. Ne sono assolutamente convinto e sicuro.

Yep, like I said before, an Ascona - were Opels ever sold in the UK?

Looks like an Ascona A to me, I don't think Vauxhall had a badge-engineered version of this car.

I'd say the pics are too blurry to see wether it is RHD or LHD. I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be an Italian car with fake plates. It's got the indicator repeaters on the front fenders. And the caravan is continental, not British, since there's no entrance door on the left side.
If it really is a RHD car, thenit could be a rare UK Opel or rather Irish.

The caravan is an Italian Elnagh, the plates looks fake and the repeaters as mentiopned before so I would say "Made for: I"

Windshield wiper system is clearly left hand drive.

... and I remember the Manta [A] (same platform) in the UK as RHD.

After checking I've found the Opel Ascona [A] was imported into the UK in RHD form. So obviously Opel didn't bother to change the wipers for the British market.

The number plate is fake. The format is wrong, the letters are too narrow and there's too much white space around the edge.

Ascona A 4 doors without sport rims must have the 1600S engine. Trimlevel "Semi Luxe" or "de Luxe", not basic or "SR".
Btw 1: in the grille's top right corner you can read "Opel". Didn't know it was made RHD too.
Btw 2: a car/caravan combination in troubles, blocking the road. And it hasn't Dutch plates! :??:

RHD-Opels were/are sold in Ireland, Japan and Hongkong.

Annother advice, that it's a faked scene. :p

Or it's the modern globalization? :??:

Du hast Recht, Opels are sold in Japan, I forgot about that.
Indeed, the scene must be faked, with this plate ;)
