This is a lowheight double decker of the late 1950s or 1960s which is trying to pose as a much earlier vehicle. I would suggest that this started life as a Bristol Lodekka/Dennis Loline, or an AEC Bridgemaster, or an Albion Lowlander. |

I favour the Bristol (or Dennis). There's something about the windscreen and cab side windows ... |

80WMH is a 1959 AEC Bridgemaster, originally a demonstrator, with Park Royal body. It's been heavily rebuilt - http://www.mikesbuspages.com/OSBORNES4.jpg shows it in original condition operating with Osbornes of Tollesbury |

Bridgemasters don´t have visible radiators. This is a much older AEC. -- Last edit: 2017-03-12 17:45:23 |
