VAH registration was never used without a year ie letter H (Aug 1969) AH is a Norfolk mark, UAH*** was Dec 1955 and it then went to WAH*** Feb 1957. So the reg on the horsebox is false. |

I am sorry to disagree with you, but, according to my much thumbed copy of Mr Newall's book, "A History of Motor Vehicle Registration in the United Kingdom", VAH commenced in July 1956, immediately following the completion of UVF, and completed in August 1956, to be followed by VNG. |
