Wikipedia wrote Between 1957 and 1967 Vemag built some models of DKW cars in Brazil. The Vemag factory was added to Volkswagen Group in 1967.

 Yes, totally right. Wikipedia also says that they were called "DKW Belcar" in Brazil.
