Brown car on the left. Maybe that 2-door Fiat is also interesting? |

It's an Oldsmobile 98 from the late 1970s...I think it's the same car as this one: /vehicle_229613-Pontiac.html |

I'd list the two door Brava that Garco mentions... |

First made for USA Brava 2-door sedan then? |

I'd say Brava yes since it seems to be from the second generation, the first one was called just 131 like in Europe you know. |

Then 1979 is not correct, since this is 2nd generation? -- Last edit: 2009-05-25 11:48:22 |

The year is less/more correct. To me 1978 can be the first MY for this design in the States. The car was intro. in the mid 1978 as the Brava or SuperBrava, then another notable changes were made inside at the end of 1978 for the 1979 MY (1.8 engine was replaced by the 2.0 for example). In this roadtest (of the already facelifted car) from june 1978, author says, that the new engine will be added for the 1979 - so pressumably this what he tests isn't considered yet as 1979 MY car... -- Last edit: 2013-10-26 17:52:52 |
