I don't know, how it was in Brazil, but the lack of the side chrome-trims identify it as a basic model. Otherwise were in Europe the openable small triangle-window only available for the -very rare- "LX"-version. btw.: this hyper-rare extra makes European Passat-freaks thinking about to go for vacations to Brazil, just for trying to find some (and back lamps with red indicator-glasses, too) |

It's a 1976~1978 model. Ingo, here in Brazil we don't have the LX version. All versions had the small triangle-windows and the side-chrome trims were used only until 1975. |

@Grigorevski: yes, I know, that the Brazilian Passat's had a different trim-systematic. As I wrote: this trangle-parts makes the European Passat I-freaks crazy, same as the complete red back lamps. |
