A real one or a "made for movie"? Anyhow I have the impression, that it's not an original one...

Anyway if it looking like one, we could list it as "VW... replica", "made for movie" is for those which are not really identifiable as replica of something real.

So we should list it as a replica.

At least one of the Kubelwagens in this movie (like the one in the second thumbnail) is not a real Type 82 but the later Type 181 known in some places at the "Thing".

This scene was an reenactment of the Allied attack on Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg and the 10th Panzer Division that occurred near Mezzouna in Tunisia on the morning of the 7th April 1943.

The records of the air attack on the 10th Panzer Division shows that air attack was committed by Kittyhawk P40-D fighter bombers from the Royal Australian Air Force No. 3 Squadron that was sent to Tunisia as part of the Allied Western Desert Air Force No. 239 Royal Air Force Wing Command.

The attack had resulted in von Stauffenberg in losing his left eye, right hand and two fingers on his left hand.

While being a replica it shows 1942 changes (indicators moved from windscreen, horn to the front)
