I think in Chile, it's after the girl gets out the yellow-black cab... |

All the cars, sold in Europe as Opel, are named Chevrolet in Southern America. "Made for Chile" is not correct, the Chevrolet/Opel's there are built in Argentina. -- Last edit: 2008-10-07 20:16:27 |

well there should be a "made for south america", here it is to indicate that the name is chosen because country=chile. |

That's true, but for Chile the Opel brand was used until 1998 (it had perished before in Brasil or Argentina), and therefore Combos were sold as Opel at the start, so this one could still be a Opel. Are you sure this were made in Argentina, and not in Portugal? -- Last edit: 2008-12-15 21:07:16 |

Aha, thanks for the info. The badge is indeed more the Opel-"Blitz" and the Chevrolet-? (ahem, where stands the logo for?) P.S.I'd been in Chile in 2006, but I cannot remember any Opel's. Only Chevrolet-badged ones. |

No, I'm not. The systematic, where GM is producing what cars, and in which countries there will be there will be delivered, is often not recognizable for me. One example: I'm living not far away from an Opel-plant (the Astra-/Zafira-factory in Bochum). Often you can see trucks from Southern Poland (there is annother Opel-factory), delivering Astra's and Zafira's to Opel-dealers next to this factory (from some of them the factory is visible). Then the empty trucks are driving to the factory and are loading -Astra's and Zafira's, what else- on and are going back!?! -- Last edit: 2008-12-15 21:36:01 |

You are wrong. It is an european Opel Combo |

Yes, Chile got European Combo B, this one seems 1997-99 before the switch to Chevrolet branding. So, built in Portugal. |
