The van looks to be LHD - unusual for Oz - the tailights look like Ford. |

Tail lights are 69-70 Ford Fairlane [ZC] units that appear to be grafted into the rear panels of the van. If I had to guess I would say it was a CF Bedford. |

valiant1962 is on the right track, I think. The cab door and the door mirror look a lot like a later Bedford CF2, as does the rear number plate mounting. (I'm not quite convinced it's LHD.) |

From everything it's possible to see of the panel-work plus the cab door I would agree it's probably (80%) a Bedford CF. There is for me, nothing visible to say if LHD or RHD. |

Also, CF Bedfords were commonly used as the basis of custom vans in Aust in the 70' and 80's, As were Transits, because they were the only vans of this size available at that time. |

CF 1970-1980 as the facelift CF arrived after the movie in 1981. Looking again this appears to be RHD with only the windscreen wiper being visible through the left window. |
