@Neptune: of course it's a bloody ute, mate, look at the bed-cover Your Strine is improving! He's got more stickers on that thing than I had on my old Avenger: |

@chris: nice pic But I'm really wondering about one thing: am I right, that the Volvo behind has more rust than your Avenger? What the prize for the guy, who can tell at first the location of the place, you've taken the pic? -- Last edit: 2008-08-23 22:46:10 |

Yes ... but the Avenger had just had a partial respray, after having (glass-fibre) front wings fitted: you should have seen the original ones. Besides, the Volvo lived there: the Avenger didn't |

That make the three bumper stickers on my car look like nothing! |

Holden Ute [VS] ??? /vehicle_17811-Holden-Ute-VS-1997.html Anyway, if a bumper sticker is used on a tailgate or liftgate, is it still technically a "bumper sticker" ??? ... |

Hmm, let the think... My Opel Omega has just three stickers, one "Scotland" on the back window (yes, it doesn't fit with the olive colour, but it must be), and on the front and back hood the military sign of the Bundeswehr-regiment in Berlin, which was the first owner. My VW K 70 has... a few more: On the front screen still (from the first owner) the typical Italian envelope with the Italian tax-stickers of 1997, a 1998 Swiss "Vignette" for the Autobahn-fee, also a "Creme 21" from the youngtimer Rallye, we've participated in 2006. On the third side window right is "NSU IG Oberhausen" (my NSU Club) and "Polska" (vacations 2003), on the left side a "JU 52" (a flight with it was my birthday present 2003) and a "VW Club Tokyo" (present from a friend). On the back window a "Scotland" (vacations 2001), a Swedish "attention elk!"-symbol (vacations 2000), a "Nürburgring"-sign (journey in 1999), and an "Estonia"-flag (vacations 2002). Sure, the stickers are only from places, I'be been with that car (except Tokyo). -- Last edit: 2008-08-24 00:02:04 |

All my stickers have to do with bands that I like. |

What does that mean? I don’t have any bumper stickers on my vehicle (or any of my past vehicles) I did have "Follow My BMW" on a tag ring when I had the 328i. -- Last edit: 2008-08-24 20:04:54 |

There is an "S" and a "Series II" decal as well, on the tailgate next to the clear part of the tail light. Series II VS from 6/96 -- Last edit: 2008-08-24 23:24:57 |

Not directly stickers, but some VW-freaks like to hang an Opel-badge over the exhaust pipe. Opel-freaks hang a VW-logo there. VW versus Opel, the old German rivalry. |
