An early AEC Regal T-class I guess?

Except that the bonnet number shows a "L" just to the left of the woman in the fur coat's arm. The correct code for an AEC Regal throughout the 30s and 40s was "T", so we either have a deliberately misleading anomaly or something else.

The code "L" was always Leyland, and this is undoubtedly an AEC, so as a suggestion, maybe this is an "LT" which is a "Long T", otherwise an AEC Renown. Unfortunately the waiting passengers are obscuring the lower half of the bus so we can't count the wheels.

Noter les phares occultés: it's war!

D'accord!

I have in my garage headlight dimmers similar to those shown on the bus.

I did wonder about counting the windows but did not have a picture of a Renown single decker except the LTC coach with Weymann bodywork of 1937/8 which have only 5 bays.
