Where it shall be set? I guess, the license-plate shall make a "German impression". US-version, see the lamps. |

Ah, I've seen the other pics, too. It looks like, that the team has collected as many European cars as possible to make the "European" scenes - to avoid the costs of filming in Europe. |

With over twenty episodes a season, they didn't have the time to go outside Los Angeles. Come to think of it, the number plates in this episode look quite like old Spanish ones. Perhaps they were recycled from another show with an episode set in Spain. -- Last edit: 2008-06-15 11:23:59 |

@Gag: Hmm. "Latin American country" But the other locations and cars doesn't really fit with Latin America, too. I guess, it's more the location "Anywhere else outside of the USA", like non-polyglotte Americans are thinking about it. Europe or Middle America, it doesn't matter. "Far away" was the main thing. |

That is what I thought about seeing the headlight. |

TV series shot back in those days did not have the budget to go on location in Europe so it was stock footage and dress up the backlot streets with some foreign cars. This show had most of its episodes taking place in foreign countries..so the cars were the easiest and cheapest way to create the illusion of being somewhere foreign. |
