The quality is bad on the third film, most captures get so blurry that it´s no use to put them here This is a Volvo truck made for concrete delivery, I don´t remember the name of it but I think they were called "Rundnos" because of the rounded shape of the front. |

If you have Paint Shop Pro 9 you can try the "Digital camera noise removal" tool, it works fine to clean this kind of images, it allows also to reduce heavily their size. I see that all the pics of this documentary are quite big Maybe reducing their width/height would also remove some of the noise and reduce the blur. Example: Original pic = 60 KB Removing noise = 50 KB http://img316.imageshack.us/img316/5613/image37zs.jpg Resize = 40 KB http://img316.imageshack.us/img316/70/image45ij.jpg -- Last edit: 2006-01-08 22:30:25 |

I use Photoshop 7.0, but it seems to me that the problem is when trying to capture the frames. On most films you freeze where you wish, and take that frame. But on some it´s more or less impossible, since it moves again when pressing the capture button. I don´t know how to get around that, in some cases it can be tricked by clicking a few times or moving to a close frame. But on this film I didn´t succeed |

I use Media Player Classic for the captures, since it allows to move frame by frame in the movie. For DVDs it is more annoying because you can only do that forward. If you go backward you jump 5 seconds back |

I replace this capture with another from a later film, here´s the original from Ep 1:03: |
