This is Frenchman Louis Rosier in his blue Ferrari at the 1954 German Grand Prix. #1 is the Ferrari 625 F1 which Gonzales started the race with but Hawthorn finished. Rosier's car being privately owned is most likely an earlier model. -- Last edit: 2008-05-06 10:03:50 |

I agree with Nzcarnerd. Look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1954_German_Grand_Prix This is certainly not a Talbot ! No Talbot raced in this Grand Prix and it's sure that the movie was done during this race. But I don't know if Rosier's car is a 625 or a former one |

The #25 car is originally a 1952 Ferrari 500 F2, s/n 0186F, reconditioned with a 625 F1 engine for the season 1954 in the F1 category (Ecurie Rosier). Usually called by the "hybrid" name of Ferrari 500/625. -- Last edit: 2011-01-11 21:51:48 |
