Bentley S1 Continental Flying Spur (Why? It's not a Standard Steel saloon a scan be seen by the shape of the wings. Further the drivers door too short to be a coupe so it can only be a limousine what finanly indicates it as a Continental Flying Spur. As there are only very very few S1 Flying Spur it seems to be more likely that it is a "S2 Continental Flying Spur" (1959 until 1962) but as this film was made in 1957 it must be one of these rare and sought after S1 Continental Flying Spur Bentleys.

I'd rather opt for the S Continental Two Door saloon by Park Ward, in view of the position of the sidelamps and in view of the limited amount of light in the inetrior of which other bodytypes would benefit. Perhaps another ic will turn up?

Yes, we must see, but I don#t think that she's a Fastback, probably the two-door Park-Ward (the desing Felix Furlonger owns, a dhc and a coupe). But at least the door is much too short for a two-door car so it might be more liekely tha she is a four-light Flying Spur... But time or another pic will bring it out the comple trueth :-)

I would say, judging from the unique wing swageline, as well as the placement of the running lights, and the door handle design, that this is a Park Ward Bentley S1 two door saloon. It is not a fastback.

Nope, it is a two door saloon by Park Ward, not a Mulliner production

I agree with silvawraith2 and the two Robs! ;) It is an S1 Continental Park Ward Fixed Head Coupe of the early style, that is the one with the smaller side window.

The car is a 1955, delivered 1956 Bentley Park Ward S1, chassis BC25AF. It was delivered to Gary Cooper in Paris. It appears Jack Warmer of Warner Brothers had the identical car, some six chassis numbers earlier and Cooper having seen it , bought BC25AF. The car being an "A" series, has the smaller rear windows. After filming "Love in the afternoon", it was sent on by Cooper to the states. We believe in the eighties it went to Queensland, Western Australia. After being auctioned in the nineties, the car went to Western Australia and was called "Audrey", in a tribute to Audrey Hepburn, by it's then rather eccentric real estate proprietor, Dee Seed. In 2014 it resides in Western Australia, resplendent in burgundy with white wall Tyres. A very impressive lady.
