1974 - according to the DVLA. Camper versions sold in period by Volkswagen GB were Devon conversions and this type of roof could be a Devon design, but I'm not sure. -- Last edit: 2008-03-06 17:37:32 |

??? in North America we call it a VW Westfalia but i don`t know if Westfalia is a worldwide commercial name. |

According to rac/hpicheck, it is registered as "VOLKSWAGEN MOTOR CARAVAN", that does not help much -- Last edit: 2008-03-14 13:47:31 |

@chevy5: Westfalia was just one company, which has offered camping-mobiles on VW-basis. It was the biggest and most popular manufacturer, but not the only one, not even in Germany. It's a VW T2b anyways. |

It's a Devon, either a dual-purpose Caravette or the pure camper Eurovette. With the wardrobe in the rear corner this would be a Devon Caravette, MY1975 by the door handle swinging down, registered 1974. |

Another probable Devon for comparison - /vehicle_721315-Volkswagen-Camper-Typ-2-T2-1972.html |
