Buick Special Riviera (1955 a mon avis) |

Yes it is a Buick of 1955 , but the series is difficult to sort out without seeing the side of the car .It can be the Special Riviera Coupe ( model 46-R) or the Century Riviera Coupe ( model 66-R) |

4 portholes, 4 doors, some chrome writing on the rear door that begins with a C, this is a Century 4 door Riviera. -- Last edit: 2007-11-05 22:45:09 |

I totally agree with this as a Century Riviera, model [63] (no "R"). Four-door hardtops of 1955 available only in Special and Century series. As Ray B. said 4 portholes=Century. No four-door Roadmaster Riviera 1955, and A-pillar wing window not consistent with Super/Roadmaster either. |

Too bad this car got burned up along with the Plymouth and Studie towtruck :-( Even though the entire car wasn't ablaze, the engine was right above the flames which couldn't have been good for it. |

Maybe bump this up to two stars? It's more than a background vehicle. |
