It's a 1980+ model regardless

Nope, 1977-1979 Caprice/Impala

I'm 100% sure it's a 1980-1990 model. Look at the "formal" roofline and the placement of the doorhandles

The way I see it is that it could be either. I say we wait for clearer pictures to be added. That way, a clearer and crisper picture can show whether there's at least a third brake light, narrowing our choices down.

The body isn't part of the 1980+ downsizing. It's and slightly bigger and bulkier than a 1980 model, plus the arch of the rear window gives it away completely.

The shape of the front fender makes me say Caprice/Impala. LeSabre had a more square fender.

1980 downsizing? :??: GM downsized their full-size cars in 1977! They facelifted them for 1980 with all-new sheetmetal, but kept the overall dimensions the same.

it`s look to me like impala caprice 77-79

rear end of caprice/impala 80+ were flat and ugly

hi hi hi it`s looks like the first sheet metal version of GM of the major down size (start on 77)

New picture added that shows more complete view. I am inclined to agree with Firebird86 that it is the Buick version (or maybe the Pontiac version)of the GM B-body due to that ridge at the outer side edges of trunk. Weren't these lacking on the Chevy version so that it had a smoother more squared off side?

I agree on saying that it's another one of the GM counterparts, not a Chevrolet.

You're right. If I may say, it looks like a 1980-1984 Buick LeSabre judging by the rear end design

I think it's a 1984-85 LeSabre, the white sedan on the other side of the street is a 1977-79 Buick Electra. A bigger picture would help to identify both.
