Are you sure Forward Control Truck is the exact name?...it means "cabine avancé" which is a type a cabin, to distinguish with "cabine conventionnelle" which is behind the engine bonnet -- Last edit: 2005-12-20 17:37:34 |

It is a forward control or cab over engine White truck and the White Motor Company of Cleveland , Ohio, also made classic normal control trucks . To be specific , it is a White of the 3000 series ca 1954 , either a 3016 LB ( 147 inches wheelbase and 16 ft body) or a 3020 (165 inches wheelbase and 24 ft body)but this is difficult to find out on the picture .They were powered by the White Mustang petrol engine of 340 cubic inches developing 130 horsepower.Because of their drop frame they were very popular with beer companies. To resume I would say :White forward control ,1954 ( series 3000) |

"3000 Series" looks better in English, I think (correct me if I am wrong) If I understood well, the 3000 is closer to the model name than the Forward Control Truck, so I switched both fields. |

I think that neither Forward Control Truck nor COE are required/useful complement info for the White 3000 which was only a COE truck. |
