On the left side it's a Rolls-Royce Phantom II (Chassis No: 90 MY) built in 1933 as a four-door/four-light Sedanca de Ville by Barker. This car is currently ownend in private hands in England. On the right side it is clearly a Silver Wraith with body by Mulliner. As I cannot read the numerplate I am sorry for not able to deliver more informations about this car. |

I guess that the numbers are 436, but the letter lots of combinaisons are possible with I/J X/Y O/Q, maybe even others... |

Yes, I've tried every possibility to check it out but finaly failed as the first letter could I/J and the other digits do read like 476 but there is no such number matching in my books here about Silver Wraith |

The number is JYO 436 I believe. 'YO' indicates Central London. 'Q' is not possible and 'XO' does not exist. 'I' was not used in the first three letters in England I believe (only in Northern Ireland) so 'J' is most likely and I agree that its 436 as the centre part of the three is just visible. JYO 436 exists on the RAC site, but with no usable details. This is chassis #WAB11, a 1947 Silver Wraith with H.J.Mulliner limousine de ville body, design 7055. It also appeared in 1990 Clint Eastwood film “White Hunter, Black Heart”. (JYO436 is correct) |
