Seems all of them have different rear window, so to choose - this one with double window is the oldest, I believe, so maybe... |

- Beetle in the middle 1950-1953 (not older, because a chrome bumper) - Beetle right in front 1953-1957. I'm not sure, if the Export-bumper is from an newe model - Beetle before the last one: after 1957. I cannot recognize the size of the back lamps, obviously they're a bit bigger, so after 1959/60. |

Actually, from this angle and distance, I would say this "split-window" car was built until September 1952. By the shape of the bumper and overiders, I would say it belongs to a post-October 1952 car, not to this one. The "oval window" car is a 1956/57 model since it has twin-exhaust pipes and the "Export" bumpers ( introduced for the 1956 model year ). The one with the bigger window is a 1958+ car, although it seems to have the rear lights a bit lower-positioned than it should. -- Last edit: 2007-10-04 00:31:28 |
