reg.no KGK 575 + JXN 391 (lewis collins jumps on and off two buses, then meets with his informant. once lewis leaves the 2nd bus, Ingrid pitt kills the informant. I believe these scenes are long enough to qualify these buses as three-stars)

Isn't this a Leyland RTL?

Yes radiator is Leyland not AEC.

JXN 391 Leyland RTL68 reported as now being in Wanaka, New Zealand.

edit However KGK 575 is not an RTL but is I believe RTW75 (now actively preserved by Blue Triangle).

So probably the two buses should be listed separately?

They should be listed separately; the RTL is Leyland's version of the RT; the RTW is six inches wider. Note the advert on the back of JXN391 for Brakell Bus Sales, who provided the bus for the film.

Nice to see an RTW in 1982 that has been preserved. How many are left I wonder.

www.countrybus.org lists twelve RTW buses currently as preserved, three in North America, the others in the UK.

There are at least 25 standard RTL buses also in preservation around the world.
