1978-1981 Fairmont/Zephyr, 1982 Granada/Cougar, 1983-1985 LTD/Marquis... all essentially identical from this angle. Fairmont/Zephyr/Granada had three-segment taillights; Cougar had six-segment taillights; LTD/Marquis had taillights with a LTD/Marquis crest in the center. The striping around the taillights and bottom of the tailgate seems to be a 1982+ feature. The '82 Granada/Cougar wagons had a unique rear bumper with black endcaps that I don't see here. Bumper guards were rare on '83+ LTD/Marquis, but I'm certain they existed. Looks more like Ford oval on the right. My best guess for this car is 1983+ LTD. |
