Only 2 vertical reinforcement bars on the bed indicates indeed the 125¼ / 3.18 m wheelbase of a ¾-ton model. But in 1941 and 1942, a 1-ton model, based on the 1½-ton pickup (134½" / 3.42 m wheelbase) was available on special order. In 1946 and 1947, the 1-ton pickup was full part of the Chevrolet truck line. The 1-ton pickup was part of the GMC truck line from 1941 onwards as 1941/1942 CC-250 and CC-260 model and most probably as 1946/47 CE-250 / CE-260 (but it's just a guess as I didn't find any document about the post-war production for now). [...] Info about these GMC models are scarce, but given the fact that GMC trucks specs are usually close to those of their Chevrolet's siblings, the Stovebolt's page dedicated to the Chevrolet Art-Deco models can certainly help. And there's no "bumper hint" listed the pre/post-war differences. It's just a personal idea, and I may be wrong, but from picture comparison I'd say that the 4-bolt bumpers are for GMC models while the 5-bolt versions are mounted on Chevrolet trucks. Keeping in mind that the pickup of the movie has been restored and that pre- and post-war items could have been mixed for this restoration, the Stovebolt's page helps to see that it has a 1941-42 cab rear window and a passenger door handle of the same period. As pre-war model, it's then a CC-Series. As said above, this bed indicates a ¾-ton model, i.e. a CC-150.
eLMeR ◊ 2020-03-16 08:40	My bad. The 1945 GMC brochure (showing trucks made for "Essential users") indicates a ½-ton CC-100 using the same wheelbase: (1945 GMC "Essential Users" brochure - Excerpt) I therefore "downgrade" the identification to CC-Series only.
