 was it sold anywhere else in Europe?

Probably not. Norway gets these strange cars and US cars with indicators just for them due to them not being in the EU.

Back in 1972 there was no EU, just the EEC/EWG, with just a few members:

They did sell them in Europe (not sure which countries exactly) under the PMC-Mikado brand along with the Skyline back then. They were quite popular in Norway with taxi drivers - more than half of those sold (around 500) were taxis.

We only have them in Norway: /vehicles_make-Prince_model-S41.html

Well, when it's presented on a car show, it doesn't mean, that it was really sold there. Actually I cannot find anything, googling "PMC Mikado" in German language, not even a short remark about an export to Switzerland.

earlydatsun.com wrote In parts of Europe the car was marketed as the PMC-Mikado Gloria 6, though the badges never mentioned the "Mikado" name. Some wore Prince badges and some said PMC. Many of the export market sales brochures for this vehicle do not use the Prince name at all, and instead refer to the car as a PMC.

The brochure on the right show that it was at least marketed in Holland. Reportedly, they were unable to market the cars as "Prince" due to NSU having the rights for the nigh-identical Prinz nameplate.

The problem is, that you cannot find out, what is meant with "parts of Europe". Actually only proven is Norway.

Strange, but I can't see the 'Gloria'- the 360 chrome line, but the chrome trim of a A150 Skyline, from the front door and back, below the door handles, is clearly visible where the Gloria had none

Actually, high-line Gloria Super 6s (may be one but not sure) did have a chrome spear in that particular location. The wing chrome is difficult to see due to the snow / light. You will find that a Skyline looks completely different.

Gloria 6's and Skyline's were marketed in Finland in 1965-1968 with a PMC name. The importer was Rego Oy. Also at least one Clipper truck was imported. I couldn't find any numbers but I would estimate that little over 100 cars were imported.

EDIT: found an article which states that over 500 cars were sold.

I found one ad online.

On a related note, in this article (in Norwegian), it's stated that "Nippon" Skylines (later Mikado Skyline and PMC Skyline) were assembled as CKDs in Belgium in the same factory that assembled diesel-engined Volgas. So I believe it's safe to say that they were marketed in Belgium as well (there are also brochures printed in French and Dutch to support this claim).

BTW: I renamed all of the Norwegian Glorias to PMC as we've got a handful of them on the site now.
