If you don’t mean the one with the stuffed uniform propped in front of it, then it looks to be a Jaguar. Mk7? |

Certainly looks like a Sapphire 346, but with all these coachbuilt Royces about I was keeping my powder dry. |

KAV 426 belongs to the Phantom III but this is a mainstream 1950s RR in supposedly somewhere hot and foreign (unless it's really UK dressed up with some bright paint and a couple of lorry loads of sand). |

The highlight isn’t on the Royce, which looks to be a Silver Dawn Standard Steel Saloon from the front wing pressings, but not from the shape of the roof, and, apparently, no sunshine roof or radio aerial either. -- Last edit: 2018-11-19 08:52:23 |

Sorted - this page now for the RR, new page for the Armstrong-Siddeley, and picture added to the Jag page comments. |

The Rolls-Royce is not a Silver Dawn. It is a late Silver Wraith with 7-passenger limousine coachwork by Park Ward. Facts matter. |

I don't think anyone suggested it was a Silver Dawn, only that the front wing pressings looked like Standard Steel. -- Last edit: 2020-11-19 18:47:53 |
