looks like an EU one to me ( see that wide place way too big for the US plate ) not sure if the EU ones were built in USA..  |

Filmed in Bulgaria, so yes, European-spec. |

Not necessarily built in the USA. Myster man was able to determine earlier only the ML500/ 55 AMG were built here while Graz AND the US built 230, 320, 270 CDI & 400 CDI. Yes but I think we only use the specific country tag if the build sheets dictate specific SA codes pertaining to a specific market (Italy, Norway, Sweden etc). Just found out the other day Graz actually began building W163s in 1998. We have a June build date with an SA code of 808 so wherever that information was sourced is a bit incorrect. This one has the 1999-2001 style repeater. 1998s on right on the wheel arch part of the fender. |
