The grille and lack of amber in the tailights would indicate that this is a 1995-1996 model. The badge clearly shows that this is an [E-250]. |

Can someone tell me what intersection this is in LA? |

I figured out where this is at last and added it to the filming locations on the IMDB (Kidnapping location): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120812/locations?ref_=tt_dt_dt The street sign is shown that says 400 S Grand Avenue and can be read well in HD quality. Although the intersecting street sign is perpendicular to the camera shooting the van so it can't be read. Then I used an art sculpture shown in the background right after the girl hits the villain with her chain to figure out it was Hope St. that curves into Hope Pl and the art piece world map in the background of the main capture above matched. I've always liked this scene and the way it's shot. The setting is right in downtown and when the girl is running down the street there are tall nondescript buildings directly on each side creating a trapped feeling. -- Last edit: 2015-09-18 16:02:40 |

Later on this film, It suddenly has 1992-94 ambers on the taillights. Also the Plate Number is fake, I did that on CarFax but They said There's no cars that has the plate number like this. -- Last edit: 2022-08-07 21:53:36 |

PCE is a common fake letter combination on Cali plates. So is PCI. |

Does the CA DMV ever issue PCEs or PCIs? |

Jetta would be able to answer that better since, I believe, he is from CA. I do not believe those combinations were/are ever issued. |

They changed their mind on PCE. I recently saw a Jeep with PCE on the plate. I saw this in the Dallas area, where I now live. -- Last edit: 2022-08-10 06:18:53 |
