Skid ◊ 2008-02-10 02:17	Blue bird is a coach builder. I believe they produce whole buses on their own now, but if that's true then it's a fairly recent thing. They used to just make the bodies, which would in turn be grafted to whatever type of chassis...Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, or International, generally.

GMC make the chassis (The front part that has the driver) and BlueBird make the body (The passenger compartment) This bus must be from 1991 or older because of the style of the passenger side windows on the chassis. From 1992 on it was just a single window but in 1991 and before there were 2 windows. BlueBird does build their own chassis now a days except for their type A buses. -- Last edit: 2011-05-23 22:21:03
